I have been teaching Latin to both children and adults for five years. I was first introduced to Latin by a wonderful, enthusiastic, and creative high school teacher and later went on to study and use Latin during my BA (Smith College in the US) and MA in Medieval Studies (University of York in the UK). I love dead languages (though living languages are fun, too!). I have studied Ancient Greek and Old Norse and dabbled in Old Irish and Old English.  I believe that few things are more invigorating than learning something new-—and learning a new language opens a whole world. I aim to keep the (virtual) classroom a joyous place. After all, learning is a wondrous activity—it shouldn't be miserable!
